About Tailored for Success
Tailored For Success provides services to economically disadvantaged women who are attempting to enter or reenter the workforce. Their mission is achieved by distributing free business clothing, providing professional image consulting and individual interview coaching; as well as conducting career development workshops. Their services are designed to bridge the gap between welfare-to-work, job training programs, and domestic violence shelters and the workplace. By increasing self-confidence through image consulting and career coaching, Tailored For Success, Inc. prepares women to enter the workforce and enables them to move from dependency to self-sufficiency.

"By participating in the MBA Mentor Program our organization was able to develop a comprehensive business plan," says Executive Director Elizabeth Hart, "Thanks to this strategic plan, we received a $10,000 grant from a new local donor! As a result, we have been able to open a resale/consignment store that will eventually provide job training to our clients. This store also allows us to reach constituents who would not be eligible for our services due to financial guidelines. The positive impact of Grassroots.org's services will be felt for many years."
