Note: If your nonprofit is located in Massachusetts, please fill out our application supplement located here to be considered for Net Impact's Board Fellows Program.
Note: Project overview does not mean expand upon your mission. For this field, propose a student project for which you are requesting assistance and explain how this project relates to your organization's strategic goals in detail. Keep in mind that the project consulting will take place over the course of a school semester (10-12 weeks), and must include time for information gathering, planning, and execution phases. What makes a good project?
We look for several key ingredients. Good projects are skill-building opportunities for our students and give them the chance to apply what they're learning in the classroom in a real world situation. Good projects challenge them to think creatively and look for ways to significantly impact your organization and the populations you serve. And good projects are well-supported by the organization. Keep in mind that these are students and need guidance and feedback throughout the process. We want to make sure your organization has the time and resources necessary to see the project through to completion.
In addition, the SVC program does not cover the areas of Grantwriting or Web Design.
