About Quail Roost Foundation
Founded in 2004 by Kerry Heubeck, the Quail Roost Foundation provides grants in the fields of Education, Health, Justice, Sustainability and Emergency Relief. Portions of these grants go to communities in Marion County, Florida and Taos County, New Mexico. Other recipients include national and international communities. Most grants go to the smaller agencies that otherwise might not have access to larger grants; the foundation always strives to have a one-on-one relation with these agencies.

“Because we are a small foundation offering grants to smaller organizations, every single dollar we are able to grant counts in meaningful ways. We would rather our limited funds go towards grantee projects than to our overhead and expenses. Were it not for the free services offered by Grassroots.org, we would probably not have a website at all.”
Taking advantage of the free web design and web hosting services offered by Grassroots.org, Quail Roost Foundation has found many benefits of having a website of their own. “We wanted an easy way to introduce QRF to those interested in sharing our goals and mission as well as a way to distribute information to our grantees. Having a website has helped considerably in communicating with our grantees and those who share our mission. It has also eliminated a great deal of paperwork and time. Potential grantees are able to familiarize themselves with us and introduce themselves to QRF. An added advantage is our ability to increase our grantees’ exposure by offering links to their websites.
Developing a web presence had a tremendous effect for Quail Roost Foundation. "We have received inquiries and information from not only potential grantees, but also possible donors as a result of our new website."
