Dear Volunteers,

As the summer comes to an end, I would like to thank you for all your hard work over the past few months. As we have seen our membership grow recently, our volunteers have really stepped up to the plate to help our new nonprofit members get online.

Volunteer opportunities board gets a new look!

If you've volunteered recently, you know that our Volunteer bulletin board has a completely new appearance. Now, when you browse Grassroots.org's volunteer opportunities, you can read about each organization's goals for their website, their target audience, and the desired appearance for the site before your volunteer.

You will notice that to browse the opportunities you must be logged in to the volunteer site. If you have not yet signed-up on the volunteer site, visit http://volunteer.grassroots.org to select a username and password. Once you've signed up, you will be able to take part in the discussion in the Volunteer forum as well!

I'd like to end this September update with a special thank you to those of you who volunteered for the special projects I advertised via e-mail this month. A few of our nonprofits urgently needed a volunteer and were extremely grateful for the last-minute help!

Thanks again everyone and as always, please feel free to contact me or Sura with any questions or suggestions.

Sincerely,
