Hello,

I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you are enjoying the start of the holiday season! We’ve accomplished a lot at Grassroots.org this year since launching our nonprofit toolbox and recently hitting the 1,000 member mark. We’re excited to keep making strides towards our 10,000 member goal in 2009 and are so grateful for the role you, our wonderful volunteers, play!

Read on to find out what's new with Grassroots.org's volunteer program.

Graphic Design program launch

ImageThis week we released the Graphic Design service in the Toolbox and the applications have already started coming in. Volunteer now to help with logos, letterhead, merchandise and more! If you are interested in performing volunteer graphic design work, you will notice that the “Opportunities” link on the volunteer site now requires you to select “Volunteer for Graphic Design” or “Volunteer for Web Design”.

Announcement

Congratulations to Leonardo Picado for being the first volunteer in November to complete a website! For designing the site for The Empathy Project, Leonardo won a USB key.

We have not yet had a site completed in December, so let us know as soon as you finish designing a site this month to be eligible for a reward!
