I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you have been enjoying the start of the fall season! This month Grassroots.org welcomed a new executive director, Shane Hankins from Columbus, Ohio. We're excited to have a new team member on board and to have all of our staff located in New York.

For the first time this month, we will be offering a free gift to the volunteer who creates the best website for one of our nonprofits in October! The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago recruits volunteers on behalf of 125 social service agencies in the Chicago area. They are looking to modernize their website: volunteerinfo.net. To volunteer, please e-mail scott.doniger@volunteerinfo.net. The team at Grassroots.org is always looking for interns! If you are going to be in the New York area for at least one month we would love to offer you an opportunity to be an intern. We can provide both flexible work plans and schedules.
