Nonprofit Strategy: Resources
Last month we focused on general resources you can use to expand your online strategy. After reviewing the answers from completed member surveys, we realized there is also a need to access fundraising resources, both direct online donation methods and informational resources about grantwriting or funding.
Check out these resources to learn more about the classes and information available to nonprofits. We suggest resources based on the amount of feedback we receive, so if you have a suggestion for our next newsletter, or if you know of a great resource, please email us at [email protected]!
Grantwriting and Funding: You can do a basic search online for information to help you get started on grants. Both The Grantsmanship Center and The Foundation Center are helpful sites where you can sign up for classes, access webinars, or a database of potential funders for your organization.
Online Donations: In addition to your larger funding goals, putting a donation button on your website pages increases the chances that someone browsing will contribute to your cause. There are many programs and applications that help manage your donations, many of which take a percentage of what you receive. Check out Network for Good for donation reports and tracking or Google Checkout to process your donations for free.
