Meet Kerri Connolly
My name is Kerri and I am 23 years old. I currently live in Staten Island, New York. I have been a student of New York CIty College of Technology and will be graduating in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Communication and Design.
While searching for a summer internship, my professor introduced me to the graphic design volunteer opportunities at Grassroots.org. Most recently, I started working with Grassroots.org
member KidSafe RolePlay.
Kerri on Grassroots.org
The great thing about Grassroots.org is it allows me to work with wonderful people and organizations that are making a difference in the world. I believe free advertising and branding will help organizations stand out and attract followers who believe in the same cause.
How has Grassroots.org impacted your life?
Grassroots.org has shown me there are a lot of good people making a difference in the world. It makes me happy that I'm able to contribute by volunteering my graphic design abilities. Designing for nonprofit organizations presents me with the opportunity to expand my portfolio and show a different type of design work.
What are you future goals?
After graduating I hope to find a job that I can go on to grow and learn beyond my creativity. Ultimately I would like to be an Art Director in a top advertising company. This does not mean my volunteering will end at Grassroots.org; I look forward to continuing on the path of volunteering and giving back to charitable organizations.
