My name is Dr. Allen L. Brown. I am the CEO of GRCN Connecting Communities Inc. While we offer many services to our community, our prime objective is to assist our young people in their transition to adulthood. What's unique in our approach is that we use performing arts as a vessel to motivate behavioral change. Our performances are designed so that performers can view their own work and realize the impact they have on their quality of life and on others.
In most schools it is suggested that if you put a good book and a teacher in front of a student that they will learn. The result of this thinking is poor test scores, increased violence and discontinued Art Programs.
