Over the last several months, the staff at A Drink for Tomorrow (ADFT) has been amazed at the abundance of support available at Grassroots.org. We’ve been able to launch a website, tap into numerous resources to improve our online presence, and we’re looking forward to an upcoming search engine optimization consultation to further our outreach efforts. We’ve also been honored as the first Grassroots.org Member of the Month, and we couldn’t be more proud!
The tools at Grassroots.org are helping ADFT further our mission to raise money and awareness in order to provide affordable and sustainable clean drinking water to those who lack this essential human right. We use cause marketing campaigns to unite businesses and consumers to solve the global water crisis. ADFT creates partnerships with businesses in such a way that a donation is made to our organization each time a pre-designated product is purchased (think breast cancer ribbon). We launch industry-specific campaigns, our first being “Turn Wine into Water”. Through this campaign we have partnered with restaurants and wine stores to fundraise for our cause, and we soon hope to expand partnerships to vineyards and wineries. As more people look to nonprofit organizations to solve social and environmental challenges, it is imperative for nonprofits to locate resources and support. Grassroots.org offers a network of talented people who want to help us face these challenges, and we’re so excited to be a part of their growing community.
