Meet Ankush Mittal
Ankush is 22 and currently lives in New Delhi, India. He has been a student in Texas and is now finishing up his international degree in New Delhi. He loves web design and volunteering-so Grassroots.org was a perfect fit!
Ankush found our volunteer opportunities through Google and has been volunteering since the beginning of the year. So far he has focused his efforts on The Pita Foundation.

I love website design. I stand besides the grassroots community even if it's not in my country. I also like the liasons, or connections I have made. Sura has been a great help in explaining things about Grassroots and this free service they provide is excellent and rare.
How has volunteering at Grassroots.org impacted your life?
I have learned much more about web design, since I started volunteering. The clients always tend to ask questions which I have no answers for, and this gives me a chance to go out there and learn about it and then master a new technique or fact every day.
I always wanted to do something for the non-profit community which I was good at and guess what? I have answered my calling.
Lastly, hopefully PITA will see more clients, donors and users who will see the premium services I have been able to provide them with and will contact me with more work.
What are your future goals?
I want to master CSS, javascript, PHP and MySQL. Learn Flash and run my firm successfully. I hope for the best!
